Fragrance Foundation Cuts to Top 5 and Announces First Winners for 2014

The Fragrance Foundation held its 2014 Awards Finalists Breakfast, hosted by actress Christine Baranski, who announced the 5 fragrances that will battle it out for Fragrance of the Year.

Winners for Indie Fragrance, Editorial Excellence, and Bath & Body Line of the Year were also announced.

Stay tuned for the awards, which will be hosted again this year by Emmy Award Winning actor and comedian Dana Carvey.

Attendees at the Breakfast were also given the opportunity to vote for the Popular, Prestige and Luxury categories for Fragrance of the Year. Every ten votes equaled one corporate vote and the industry members with much at stake were present to protect and support their fragrance candidates.

Jo Malone took home the Bath & Body Award.

“The individual votes can change the outcome of who wins Fragrance of the Year,” said Elizabeth Musmanno, President of the Fragrance Foundation. “The Finalists Breakfast has become a marquee event with a competitive edge.”
